MLB & the MLBPA announced the first set of results for Covid

These numbers seem pretty low would also seem to be an encouraging sign that MLB will at least be able to start a 60-game season on July 23.

If they can keep numbers down they might even be able to pull this off .....

National percentage of positive tests has been around 7% in the last few days, per data analysis from Johns Hopkins.

MLB’s initial intake results came back at 1.2% positive.

Yankees Luis Cessa and D.J. LeMahieu have tested positive

They are isolating at home. LeMahieu is asymptomatic ... Cessa has shown mild symptoms

The Washington Nationals canceled workouts today as results from their Friday coronavirus tests still have not shown up.

Comes on the heels of the Oakland A's canceling a workout Sunday because of no results and testers not showing up to Angels camp, either.

Here is a statement from Nationals GM Mike Rizzo:

"Without accurate and timely testing it is simply not safe for us to continue with Summer Camp. Major League Baseball needs to work quickly to resolve issues with their process and their lab."

And another one ...

The Astros have not received their COVID-19 test results since last week, and also are trying to decide whether they will cancel today's scheduled workouts.

Statement from Buster Olney:

"Some players are reporting privately their teams are not adhering closely to elements of the health and safety protocol. Some players feel their teams are being diligent, but this perspective is not uniform across MLB."
