1-2 in the championship game

really got cute and over analyzed with the under plays

expected a 40-14 game. should have just played Jawja

there's only 2 or 3 programs outside the SEC that can compete with whatever team comes out of the SEC (LSU, Georgia, Alabama). it's not just speed at the skill positions, the size, speed and depth especially on the front 4 defensively where Georgia can sub a fresh 4 all game is the biggest difference.

TCU isn't even a " small school " they are in a major conference but they are still a "Cinderella " and the only way a school like them can win it all is catching a team flat after a month layoff but with the playoff that is not possible and now the playoffs are expanding. In other words the best opportunity to beat the elite programs in a championship is actually less likely with a playoff. In the first round of the playoff is probably the only small chance
