College football bowl confidence contest - buy in

Obviously this was not planned and has never happened before. Figures, that kind of year.

I haven't read the responses. I think the fairest way is the only game I know everyone has available (with the exception of tiebreakers) is the National Championship game. Anyone who picked BC or Boise can come back and pick the NC game as the point value you has assigned to the cancelled game

There is no perfect solution. This is the only thing I can see is being the closest to being fair to most of the entries. I will post a line when available

The worst idea ever is giving people who selected this half the points. If every pick was weighted the same and everyone had to pick that bowl then yes. Gives those a competitive edge, cannot have that in any contest.

You cannot be rewarded, but you cannot have it count against you either.....


Geoff you can grade it if you are worried, you don't have to keep asking like in Bingo. You can also self grade yourself and others I'm sure would follow.
