I actually think he did the right thing. His defense gave up 9 yards on first down. You have to assume they will get the first down and if you waste a TO on 2nd and 1 you’re really in trouble. Had they not got so many yards on 1st down I’ll guarantee he would have called them prior. They got the ball back with a minute left which in college is enough time.

maybe but Michigan has a deliberately slow offense. I don't think they can operate in a no huddle. TCU got the ball back with about 330 left. Harbaugh had all 3 but didn't use any until there was a minute left. the look on his face wasn't his normal self assured look, he looked lost. sane look he had at the beginning of the game when ge called the statue of liberty play on the goal line
