I get it, why would they want to play? Most Bowl games are useless anyways and add all the stupid restrictions, what's the point? To my understanding these players andd staff have been isolated from everything, how much fun would it be to go to a bowl game when they are restricted from doing anything but staying in their rooms until game time to play a game that doesn't mean anything anyways?

Minnesota will decline a bowl bid this season


Minnesota’s decision to opt out means there could now be up to 3 bowls canceled today ... It depends on decisions by a number of Big Ten teams ...

4 bowls canceled today - Guaranteed Rate, Birmingham, Independence & Military - leaving only 28 bowls.

Before season, there were 42 bowls scheduled (15 canceled overall plus the Montgomery Bowl was added)

Army, despite 9-2 record and a guaranteed bid to Independence Bowl, will not be allowed to play in a bowl game.

They were snubbed because other bowls had contractual agreements with teams and locked into taking teams with losing records over a 9-win team.

JMO Alabama will crust N.D ( 20 wont be enough)
Think It will wind up Alabama Vs Clemson. Bama best team in the country with the best coach. Would be shocked if it turns out any other way.

Gasparilla Bowl likely will be canceled because South Carolina unable to play because of the virus.

Unless ESPN can move other bowl teams around, C-USA champion UAB will not be able to play in bowl this year.

UAB and Gasparilla Bowl waiting to see if another team can’t play because of covid

If another team can’t play, UAB could face that team’s bowl opponent in Tampa or at another bowl ....
