Wink sunday hoops 151???????

well again i dont really handicap but the 1st half of 1 game jax st , not sure what others do, just wondering, for me when you handicap teams , and you are betting certain teams alot which i do, some teams ill never even bet or cap and for me they are usually your popular teams, your bigger schools, ive just always stayed away from those, mostly because when i was 1st doing this , times were diff, you didnt have so many games on tv, and tv games always got the most action, and so those lines were always sharper than the smaller schools would be, it was easier to find mistakes in smaller schools lines , i havent bet a duke game, kansas, villanova, arizona, today took pitt vs n.car , but that has always been what i do, ive always stuck to mid collages , and small
yesterday i was way off on most losing, wisc gbay, detroit, pitt, idaho st, won w.virg, over wisc gbay game, over detroit game ,jax st 1st half and im sorry for not writing it up better but im doing horses alot and dogs takes up alot of time, but the action is much better, and i enjoy it alot more
so as i looked at games to play yesterday sort of quickly i was just going to bet about 10 -15 games of teams i really cap alot, i know the teams, i see who they are playing and decide if its worth playing or not....and i woulda done well just doing that as i seen scores , some of the smaller and mid schools im usually on ??? longwood, they were +12 lost by 7....LIU brooklyn they were a pick, won by 9 outright, farleigh dickinson they were +5.5 won by 18, ST marys they were -6 won by 22, e.tenn st they were -16 won by 26, s.utah they were +13 won by 8, i said i liked n.ill they were +2 went to +4 game did go to overtime where they won by 6 , but getting 4 and it goes to overtime, +4 was a goodplay , also N.col a team who can really put up points, i love going over on their games and team points alot, havent always won is why i layed off them last few but they showed back up yesterday , and playing idaho with an over/under of only 147 and they scored 162 points damnit ....i think abeliene christian woulda lost ...even when i bet Detroit to cover vs NKY, i knew that game was going over and i played it, but i also shoulda played over team pts,ive hit on them over team pts a few times ......
I think most handicappers get to a point where ya know certain teams well, and you can look at games and know who your most likely going to like....its basically how we decide wich games to look into.....NOBODY sits and handicapps 80 games and then breaks it down to 3 or 4 they want to bet..lol ...most likely they glance over the shedule and certain teams pop out and you see the line, if it looks right they dig into the game , and once you get familiar with certain teams when you glance through games, guess what??? those teams you know, well sometimes those become your plays, either for or against , knowing a team helps both ways ......so i woulda done pretty good doing that yesterday, woulda been mostly luck i suppose ....what i did play i lose money becaause bifgger plays lost except the 1st half jax st
i win that for 200 win 100 over detroit 100 over wiscgbay, 50 on w.virg, and 100 over team pts n.ill ...lose 165 wisc gbay 165 detroit, 165 idaho st, 120 pitt, 55 over 1st half wisc gbay .........
SO 5 and 5 but lose a bit

Today im going to go aganst most i think and take Temple +1.5 they have alot of better % in alot of categories
assist, ft%, 3pt%, 2pt%, effective fg%. shooting%, shooting erricency%, more steals like 9.4 to 5.1 a game , they have fewer turnovers, and fewer fouls, and almost all of those they hold an advantage even when they are the away team and wichita is the home team, thats hard to do to.... should be a good game , wichita does well at home to, so im going against that also

temple+1.5 110-100

also taking george mason -5 over st bon ...the bonnies have lost like 4 in a row but they have played some good teams in their i will give them credit for that, but they have been streaky winning like 2 then losing like 5 in a row, win 3 then lose 4 in a row, G.Mason has won 5 of their last 7 and even the 2 losses , one was a 59-58 loss to kansas st, and they lost by 5 at vermont, and they have played good teams too , and of all that stats i mentioned in the above game , G.Mason is better in all those to, except a little better in FT% ...so ill take the hotter team, better stats team and the home team
g.mason-5 vs st.bonny 110-100

and its a rivalry game and s.dakota st just lost for me vs iupui but ill come back with them again here....again a much better shooting teams m and they have done well vs s.dakota ,,sd st is avging 82 pts a game on the road 42 at half and shooting 49.1%fg and giving up 74 pts on the road , and last 5 they have averaged 91 pts a game shooting 51%fg ...and in 2 conf games they are averaging 94 pts a game and 53% fg, and gane up 80 pts a game and 43% fg

Sdakota at home is avg 73 pts a game 38 at half and shooting 47% and holding teams to 61pts a game but last 5 they are scoring 63 pts a game and giving up 71pts and in conferance they are scoring 68 and giving up 70 .... can they hold s.d.st to 70? ...laying 4.5 pts

ill try south dakota st-4.5 110-100 and ill try over 147 in that game 55-50

ill be looking into team pts also

well good luck sorry about the yakking but its handicapping talk is all gl all

Thumbs up Pair of Bronze Medals

For Handicapping, you've been pretty good lately but Keith has been red-hot and someone else must be running better than you lately. But your handicapping has been pretty good, so I give you the bronze.

Your stream-of-consciousness posts are also truly outstanding ("How could those fuckers miss the extra point?" and similar), so in that category ("Stream of Consciousness Prose") I also give you a bronze, behind Jack Kerouac and Hunter Thompson (and just ahead of James Joyce).

So you're in good company all around, keep it up.
