Shocking how loud the tiny crowd is at MSG. Figured it would sound like a church

The Big Ten, SEC and American Athletic Conference have canceled their conference tournaments, the leagues announced Thursday.

The decisions continue ongoing actions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, which was labeled a pandemic Wednesday by the World Health Organization.

Also Wednesday, the NCAA announced that the men's and women's basketball tournaments would be played without fans in attendance.

The Power 5 leagues, along with other conferences, had previously announced Wednesday that fans would not be allowed to attend their respective conference tournaments.

So weird watching 1 tourney play. The pressure will be too much and they will call it too. Guaranteed.

I'm thankful for this Big East game but in all actuality its a pretty bad look

Multiple tourneys done but a city that has a major outbreak 20 miles from MSG still playing

One thing would be is to set the field Sunday afternoon get everything ready and then when and if they get the go-ahead they can start the tournament.

Stay safe everybody take care of yourselves and take care of your mother's and father's they're the ones that are going to need it the most along with our grandparents

Providence coaches, who were scouting St. John's-Creighton, have all left in unison.

Like Wayne said, I wouldn’t be surprised if this game is called at the half

A couple Vegas Bookmakers and industry experts estimate that a cancellation of the NCAA tournament would cost Vegas sportsbooks well over $100 million dollars in handle (dollars wagered).

And "that's being conservative" one of them said.

Duke has taken themselves out of the Tournament.

Expect other teams to follow until the Tournament is officially canceled.

Top-ranked Kansas has also withdrawn from the NCAA tournament.

@GoodmanHoops

Nearly 10 of the top coaches in college basketball have spoken and are on board with the following idea, source told me.

- Selection Sunday on as planned.

- Postpone the NCAA Tournament and continue to monitor the situation.

“We all talked, and agree on this,” one told me.
