And for all the comedians, I still believe this. They should have waited and got more. They refused to trade him in division? Why?? If you knew he was such a bad apple you probably could have got a 1st rounder from the browns and ruined their season in the process

You knew what you were getting with this guy and you better be prepared to treat him differently if you want him. Pittsburgh did it and Oakland decided not too. Well thatís what happens.

Brown would have received a $2.5 million roster bonus if he was still on Pittsburgh's payroll by March 17.

The three teams that had shown the most interest in wide receiver Mr. Big Chest were the Oakland Raiders, Washington Redskins and Tennessee Titans, and we saw what happened in Buffalo.

Yes little boy because it was made very clear and reported by EVERYBODY that they would not trade him in the division ... so no shit the browns show no interest. Why would they?

Pittsburgh was scared to death he would come back to haunt them if traded in division and that is a fact. They had no idea how he would act for someone else. If they did and they knew, they would have ran to the browns and offered him BUT they didnt

You said they should have waited longer to trade him. You are wrong. He was due a 2.5 million roster bonus.

Nobody gives a fuck about 2.5 million. That is pennies for nfl owners. Especially if it means you get a 1st rounder instead of a 3rd

The Giants considered OBJ a headache and the browns were more than happy to take that on. They would have done the same if AB was offered. They would have LOVED to take him from Pittsburgh. Go smoke another one if you don’t believe that.

2.5 mill is nothing for owners, but itís against the cap! And thatís a lot to any teams cap, Fact. Now consider adding that 2.5 mill in dead money to a historic 21.12 million in dead space they already owed for ass clown brown.

Pittsburgh fans will never admit it but this would have been 10 times sweeter if it happened in Cleveland

Fact

If they gave a fuck about the salary cap they would not have taken a 20 million dead space hit on it and kept him.

Upgrading a 3rd for a 1st is worth more than 2.5 million. Easy

I remember when Oakland sent another WR to NE that EVERYBODY said was nothing but a cancer. All randy did here was set records and if it wasn’t for knights fucking Giants, would have completed the 1st 19-0 season ever. Still the only team to go 16-0 in regular season. Randy still loves the Pats!

Send us AB!!!

I wish AB the best but no team can fix his problems. He needs to seek help he is self destroying himself because he is mentally ill. No one needs to be blamed for where he is today. I hope he comes to his senses and returns to the game. This sure shows what the Steelers were dealing with while he was in Pittsburgh. No one ever really knows the inside of a locker room and no locker room can fix a mental illness.

It is just a WR diva thing going on. No different than any other great WRs in the past. For some reason that position seems to be where the biggest divas live That is what makes jerry rice so great. Look at some of the best WR’s behind him. All huge Diva’s

Randy moss
Terell Owens
Michael Irvin
Ocho cinco
OBJ
AB
Cris Carter

Some of the best ever and I’m sure I’m missing a few

Wayne AB on a whole other level. Stories that came out from players on the team didn't sound good. When is the last time you remember seeing ANY receiver act like this. He hasn't played one game and look at the drama he brings to the team. Then other players see it and if they give him special treatment the coach loses the locker room. Personally I have never seen any WR act like this. But you nailed it, Jerry Rice was a class act. AB is sick and the only person that can save him is himself.
