foot Baltimore @ Pittsburgh Oct.6th got my tickets and RR is Psyched!!

I can not wait for this as I`am about to embark on a life long dream.
My bucket list just got 1 shorter. I`m going to Pittsburgh next October
to watch my boys take on the Ravens. something I wasn't sure would ever
happen started to become reality just before Christmas, 2wks before
Pop passed away from lung cancer he n my mother sat me down and told
me they were going to help get me to Pittsburgh. and if he wasn't here mom
would see it to fuition. it has been a whurl wind of emotions for me since
he passed and as I clicked submit last wknd thru Pittsburgh`s SNU site
and finally hit me.. I`m going to Pittsburgh!!! pops lookin down on me and
I cant fuckin believe it lol. I keep thnkn its all a dream but as I booked
our Hotel its really not a dream.

I got 2 tickets for myself n my brother, we will be sitting in family section
120, northeast corner of the north endzone. and in October which is
the NFL`s cancer awareness Month. what a fitting way to honor our pop
during a month that means so much to all of us who know or knew ppl
that had cancer. it will be emotional for me still cant believe its gonna
happen. we will be at Hilton garden inn, walking distance to Heinz field
and will get to take the Roberto Clemente FootBridge. just wntd to share
with all of you, and that's why I hvnt been here as much since JAN. 1st

Have a great time if I can help with this bucket list let me know. I have been there 3 times and have seen all of the city. Please take in a place called, The Proper. It's a great place for food and drinks. It's a great time to say the least, it took me 45 years to get there. When you walk into the stadium tears will flow down your face count on it. When the play Renegade make sure you stand up and look around. It's that sea of yellow you have seen on TV for years. I'm not going this season but I will be going to the 49er - Steeler game. Travel safe and enjoy every minute.

gonna wait till august or early September before I buy our airline tickets.
it will be SouthWest. I figure if I doit now I will miss out on cheaper fares. maybe
catch one of their airfare wars and grab a deal. I know they offer a non-stop from
Sac once a week, and stops thru dallas-fortworth several times a week

4 nights/5 days: get there Thursday Oct. 3rd, leave Monday Oct. 7th

Get the Strip out of the way the first day you are there. You can get all your shirts, hats, sweatshirts and so on before the game. Place is a fucken zoo and not worth going the closer it gets to game day. You'll save a lot of time by getting that out of the way early. Primate brothers is over rated in my honest opinion. The lady that greets you is your classic bitch. She's an older gal with a huge attitude. I loved her the second she told me to sit the hell down. The sandwich is over rated but its worth a look for sure. Make sure you go on the incline its worth the view. Not sure where you are staying but you can use Uber and drive back up to the top of the Mountain so you can see Pittsburgh at night. The view is amazing at night. If you are staying in the city I would not rent a car. Plenty of ways to get around and the subway goes most everywhere. Make sure you ride the Subway to the game. The ride with the fans is awesome and part of the experience. If you are up for the 49ers - Steelers game hit me up. Have a great time.......

When you walk into the stadium tears of joy are going to run down your face. Let them flow. Your father is looking down on his boys today. May God Bless you and do enjoy the game.

Are you kidding me tears of joy I have that right now I've been having that ever since I hit submit through Ticketmaster and it came back and told me that I have my tickets.

I don't know what to expect I know it's going to be an emotional day and that's what I'm talkin about right now but like you guys told me to do I'm just going to let it flow all day and even when we get there Thursday.
I miss him so much guys my experience is going to be off the charts and I owe it to him in my mother for telling me what they were going to help me do.

And in case you guys are wondering that watch that I won last year during Wayne's 25 Days of Christmas I bought it for my pop and my mom gave it to me when he passed away that's going to be on my wrist while I'm there

I'm going to take lots of pics and if I can figure it out how to do it I'm going to cut and paste on this thread and if I can't do it maybe one of you guys can help me

Take in the Proper you won't regret it. Its walking distance to where you are staying. Make sure you go to the strip the first day you are there. It's a fucken mad house and not worth going the closer to game day. Steel city should meet you down at the strip and I can set that up if you like. Great city love the place. The view from Mount Washington at night is unreal. Post pictures
