Chiefs should probably draft a WR...

because Tyreke Hill is done. At least 1 year ban. Could and should be lifetime ban IMO. Guy's a real POS.

what an absolute POS. I, of course, have him as a 3 year contract in one fantasy league.

Chiefs have a lot of needs. They parted ways with stalwarts that are probably no longer that..

I hate the idea of us having to rebuild but now that we have lost our two best explosive players we might have to unload to get back. Mahomes is great but a one man show only exists in Baseball

With questions surrounding Tyreek Hill's status off and on the field, the Kansas City Chiefs traded up on Friday night to select a wideout.

The Chiefs drafted Georgia wide receiver Mecole Hardman with the 56th overall selection. Kansas City sent a second-round pick (No. 61) and a fifth-round pick (No. 167) to the Los Angeles Rams, who previously acquired No. 56 from the New England Patriots.

Hardman was widely considered the fastest receiver and return man available in the draft. NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah's No. 57 prospect entering the draft, Hardman ran a 4.33-second 40 at the NFL Scouting Combine. The receiver has been described as a raw talent and playmaker who struggles to compete for the ball in traffic.

Hardman's selection cannot be separated from the current off-field controversy surrounding Hill.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid told reporters Friday that a local prosecutor reopened a child abuse investigation involving Hill. This came after a TV station broadcast an audio recording on Thursday night in which Hill and his fiancee discuss injuries to their 3-year-old son.

The Chiefs announced Thursday following the conclusion of the first round that Hill "will not take part in any team activities" for the foreseeable future.

Hill's future with the Chiefs remains precarious. The addition of Hardeman to Kansas City's receiving corps, which boasts Sammy Watkins, Sammie Coates and Demarcus Robinson, as well, should compensate for Hill's potential absence.

NFL will not discipline Hill

League could not find evidence he assaulted his son ... it will leave the case open if further evidence emerges

He is free to report to camp, practice and play this season.

Guy beats his kids mother. Pleads guilty before he even gets to the NFL to domestic violence. On a recorded phone call calls her a dumb bitch and tells her she should be afraid of him too after the kids mother tells Hill the kid is afraid of him. Somehow the kid said Hill broke his arm and Goodell lets this go. But Brady gets 4 games for telling someone to let a little air out of a football. Total bullshit. Goodell is a joke.

They had more evidence here than they did against Zeke and Zeke got 6 games. Goodell and the NFL have zero clue what they are do. I think they just put ping balls in a machine like a lottery to determine penalties.

No man one of those big wheels and the guy has to go to the commissioner's office and spin for his punishment. They could put it on TV. I can just hear the guys... come on $50,000 fine...no 6 games...no 6 games. Ratings through the roof. You're welcome Goodell.

Besides Goodell being a joke another big part of this is Crystal Espinal not cooperating with everybody because of fear.
