Minnesota @ Green Bay (-3.5)

likely winner hosting Seattle , loser going to Washington.

crazy to think , but in better shape to lose this game?

not in any way saying a team in this spot would dump , so don't think I am saying that because I am not , but interesting angle. GB is an absolute mess , but they match up really well with Minny IMO

thoughts?

I think in theory it is thought about but I think every team would rather play at home vs on the road. They all feel better playing there. You also have a (6-2) Washington team at home or a (4-3) Seattle team on the road. IDK but I would always rather have a Home game.

me too , neither has a shot vs Seattle IMO though, we already saw what seattle can do @ Minny too. think it is possible they could win in Washington , but the non homer in me says Washington beats either one of them at home.

i would rather vikings play at home vs seattle. i know seattle crushed them earlier but i think vikings give them all they want or beat them in a rematch.

I don't think Washington can beat Green Bay.

But, I don't think either team tanks on purpose to play them.

Is it possible to be 10 - 5 and also be terrible?

Yes. Packers 2015 - 2016

K. Cousins over Mr. Munn.

Probably a pick, maybe gb -2ish, can't see it being 3+. But who knows. Skins were getting points at home to buffalo 2 weeks ago, lol, so maybe it is 3.

Minnesota @ Green Bay (-3.5)

Openly rooting for Minnesota. GB is the 3 if they win & the 5 if they lose. Seattle is the worst possible matchup for GB right now (home or away). They have the pass rush & the secondary to keep Rodgers moving around & off target. Weather will be cold & blustery in GB, which no longer favors GB's style of offense. Not a knock on Washington, but I'd give GB a better chance on the road. Washington D is decent, but I'd take them over Seattle. Regardless of the STL game, Seattle is the hot team & they have the pedigree. Lynch is getting healthy, too.

Then, I'll root for Minny to beat Seattle.

you make some very good points here that i go along with. nice that both gb and vikings are both in and that it isn't an all or nothing game. rodgers not "the frozen tundra of lambeau field" QB that Favre was.

Since I agree that there is no tank here...so that makes me think GB wins...

the matchups are more even if swapped up

My opinion on what the lines should be:
GB vs Min = Green Bay -4.5

GB @ Wsh = Green Bay -4.5
GB vs Sea = Green Bay -1.5

Min @ Wsh = PK EM
Min vs Sea = Sea -1.5

Ultimately, I see Green Bay winning and hosting Seattle ... Minnesota losing and visiting Washington, with both games being near toss-ups.
