Personally today i think there were a lot of sucker lines put out, so many were at either 3.5 or 6 and by keeping it under that td line of 7 it gets a lot of people betting teams like pitt, ne, denver , the one i liked i think was the rams at only 3 or 3.5 but it worried me, looked way too easy, but ya always have to watch when you got a road fav at -6 and not 7 if it was such a good play why not 7? its at 6 for a reason, to get action, if it gets moved there that's diff but when it is set there or at 6.5 be careful, and it really gets the teaser action going because people love making a 6 pt road fav a pick, , and always watch for that 5 to 5.5 line, raiders had 4 books open at 5.5 so it was a 5 point system play to be honest, remember last week, we had 2 of those win outright, it is one of the craziest things i have ever kept track of, and its over 30+ years, to understand it you have to understand it was before the 2 point conversion, when 5 was rare, after the 2 point was in it was still kind of rare but has happened more, i am guessing you have about 12-15 a year is all but the % of covering, is near 70% winning outright at about 60.....kinda crazy

if your watching pitt/las vegas keep track of those 4 points vegas just lost by having the td called back, just keeep that in mind, this game looks like its going to be close, so at the end we will see how important those are, pitt has not had anything go wrong for them really that have cost them points but those 4 or 5 even if they would have went for 2...they are going to be crucial like if pitt kicks a fg at the end those points would have made it to where they would need a td, if they score a td to like win it, those 4 would have made it to where it didn't matter, always comes back, raiders need a good break

No Matter what, it's nice to see my Raiders have a defense, they gave up a couple of big plays but overall not bad, and i still think Carr is very under rated as a qb, his Comp% is always top 3 in the league, he has like 24 4th qtr comeback wins, the guy is a class act, all RAIDER....... even with jacobs out today too, and 2 lineman out , and their big def lineman they got from baltimore and the one from tampa McCoy they were missing some huge players on the road, short week, but it's finally having a defense that is good , not great but really good ....the Raiders as a 5.5 opening line dog win outright again, beat 2 afc central div opponents and derek carr 28-37 382 yds 2 td's 0 int's that's pretty good on top of last week not sure who is better glad i bet carr to get over 3300 yds passing this year he has over 800 already

lost about 2 grand including thursdays nfl .......nfl pre season was up close to 900 i am not counting that was +3125 after last week combined for the year , now +1100 ........this sunday 2 big things are cinncy cost me about 500 of it and Miami lost the teasers, jets lost me teasers....those 3 teams did it should have stuck with my raiders and the cowboys, dallas had a good 1st half then stalled , ill get this back


Next week Indy is a 5 point dog it opened at 5 everywhere, i am thinking it may go up but maybe not, tenn beats seattle at home somoney may go towards them, but indy played the rams tough as the biggest bet team maybe this week was the rams to cover, and they didn't, denver did, N.E did, SF did , i think philly cost themselves today though, teasers today should have paid out unless you took pitt down , kc/balt either teaser won, same with a lot of games, that is when the books get hit on teasers, rams game either covers, sf game either covers, saints down got beat, dallas game either team covers a 6.5 point teaser, a lot of 6 point teasers didn't landing on 3 id never bet them always get the hook........but Indy is a live 5 pt dog, those games this year are 3-0 ats and 3-0 str up you can't get any better % than that people

very sorry smart for noticing, i woke up tuesday and realised i bet wrong, that was suppose to be an over, i wouldn't bet over in the teaser and over 1st half then bet under...i made a really bad mistake, pissed me off i have not even looked at my nfl thread till now since i am buried in the college games , i am sorry about that i have cost myself a few times doing that

week 2 only had 1 5 pt play it was the raiders who again won outright, this week there is just 1 its Indy +5 vs Tenn , there were 2 in week 1 both won outright also pitt vs buffalo and Las vegas vs Balt, it only goes by the opening line not that it ends on, and there has to be at least a few books that open with it at 5 or 5.5, and we are talking about the dog, i will always post right away on sunday night for the next week or monday morning if there are any 5 or 5.5 plays for the upcoming week

Well tonight the Carolina Panthers are on the road as they travel to face the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football. Carolina knocked off New Orleans 26-7 at home Sunday in their previous contest. Houston was beaten 31-21 on the road by Cleveland in their previous contest Sunday afternoon. In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the Panthers hold a 3-2 advantage and have won the last three meetings. That includes a 16-10 road win in the most recent matchup on September 29, 2019.

Carolina improved to 2-0 on the year as they completely shut down New Orleans at home Sunday. The Panthers look to extend their mark to 3-0 on the season as they travel on a short week here. Against the Saints, Carolina led 7-0 after one quarter and 17-0 at the half. The Panthers didn’t allow the Saints to score until the opening minute of the fourth quarter and came up with key plays on both sides of the ball to get the victory. Carolina held a commanding 383-128 edge in total offense, racked up 28 first downs while allowing just six and controlled the clock by a 38:32 to 21:38 margin. The Panthers recorded a pair of takeaways while committing only one while recording four sacks. Carolina limited Alvin Kamara to just five yards on eight rushing attempts in the contest.
For the season, the Panthers enter week 3 9th in the league in passing offense with an average of 282 yards per game through the air and 21st in rushing offense by grinding out 100 yards per contest. Carolina is 18th in the league in scoring offense as they average 22.5 points per game while they lead the league in scoring defense by allowing 10.5 points per contest. Sam Darnold has completed 50 of 73 passes for 584 yards with three touchdowns and one interception while getting sacked three times this year. Christian McCaffrey leads the ground game as he has run the ball 45 times for 170 yards plus a score. Rookie Chuba Hubbard (eight carries, 10 yards) is the next man up on the depth chart. In the passing game, DJ Moore (159 yards, TD) and McCaffrey (154 yards) each have 14 receptions to share the team lead. Tight end Dan Arnold (five grabs, 61 yards) and Terrace Marshall Jr. (four catches, 95 yards, TD) are the only other players with even 50 receiving yards in the first two weeks of the season. Ryan Santoso was one of two on extra points and hit both field goal attempts with a long of 29 in the opener. Zane Gonzalez is two of three on extra points and two of three on field goal attempts with a long of 42 in week two.
Houston couldn’t build off their season-opening win as they were knocked off by Cleveland on the road Sunday afternoon. The Texans look to bounce back though they are battling some injury issues heading into the short week. Houston led 14-7 midway through the second quarter before allowing Cleveland to tie the game with 1:14 to play in the half. That was part of 17 unanswered Cleveland points that left the Texans down 24-14 after three quarters. Houston climbed within three with 11:32 to play but gave up a nine-play, 82-yard drive that chewed up 5:40 off the clock and ended in a touchdown that gave the Browns a 10-point lead with 5:52 to go. The Texans couldn’t generate any more points and went down in defeat. Houston was outgained 355-302 in total offense, gave up 22 first downs while picking up 17 and lost the time of possession 35:05 to 24:55 in the game. Each team turned the ball over twice in the contest.
On the year, Houston is 13th in passing offense with 254.5 yards per game through the air while they stand 11th in rushing offense with 121 yards per contest. Houston is 9th in scoring offense with an average of 29 points per game while they are 20th in scoring defense by allowing 26 points per contest. Tyrod Taylor is 31 of 44 passing for 416 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. He is second on the team in rushing with 55 yards plus a score. Taylor suffered a hamstring injury in the game Sunday against the Browns and has been ruled out for this contest. Coach David Culley indicated that regardless of Taylor’s status, Deshaun Watson would NOT be active for the game. Davis Mills is eight of 18 for 102 yards with one touchdown and one interception. With Taylor out, he’ll make his first career NFL start in this contest. Mark Ingram II is the leading rusher for the team with 40 carries for 126 yards plus a score. David Johnson (nine carries, 35 yards) and Philip Lindsay (13 carries, 27 yards, TD) are also in the mix. In the passing game, Brandin Cooks (14 receptions, 210 yards, TD) is far and away the top receiver for the team. Danny Amendola (six receptions, 43 yards, TD) is next in line. Joey Slye has hit all seven extra point attempts and three of four field goal tries with a long of 40 this season.

Panthers are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 road games....the over is 38-16 in the last 55 games on fieldturf....carolina is 0-2 ats last 3 yrs on thursday, and are just 2-10 ats on thurs since 92....


Texans are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game, and they are just 4-9 ats in their last 13 games in week 3....3-9 in their last 12 thurs games, ...and the over is 7-3 in their last 10 thurs games ....


Houston has a win on the books but the fact that Taylor may be unable to go is troubling for a team that isn’t overpowering in any facet of the game. Carolina’s defense is leading the league in scoring defense and they have racked up 10 sacks already and have held opposing teams to a 25% success rate on third down after finishing 31st in that category last season by allowing teams to convert 49% of their third down situations a year ago. If Taylor can’t go, you’re sending a rookie in Mills out there with limited offensive weapons to deal with a ferocious Panthers’ defense. Even playing at home can’t overcome that, especially when you consider that Houston can’t rely on the run game as they average just 3.5 yards per carry. Darnold has another good game in his rejuvenation tour and the Panthers improve to 3-0 by rolling here........

Carolina has only been a road favorite of 7.5-10 points twice since 92 and they are 2-0 ats and 2-0 str up in those 2 games, they are also 3-1 ats and str up vs the afc south in the last 3 years ......Houston as a dog are 2-0 over the total last 3 years, all games when the total is between 42.5-49 they are 2-0 over the total last 3 years....as a dog of 3.5-9 points they are 10-4 over the total last 3 years but there are so many injuries in this game
