Michael Brockers' deal with the Baltimore Ravens fell through over an issue with his ankle, and the free-agent defensive lineman will be rejoining the Los Angeles Rams with a similar deal on Friday.

Brockers, 29, reached agreement on a three-year, $30 million with Baltimore on March 16, the first day of the NFL's negotiating period. But an independent doctor expressed concern over his left ankle, which he injured in the 2019 season finale.

A new agreement couldn't be reached with the Ravens. Brockers now has agreed to a three-year deal worth up to a maximum $31.5 million with the Rams, the NFL Network reported.

Having had 10 missed field goals in 2019 for the Los Angeles Rams, veteran kicker Greg Zuerlein and the Dallas Cowboys have agreed to a three-year, $7.5 million deal with $3.5 million guaranteed, sources confirmed to ESPN's Todd Archer on Friday.

Linebacker Reggie Ragland has agreed to terms with the Detroit Lions, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Ragland, who turns 27 in September, became a part-time player after the Kansas City Chiefs switched to a 4-3 base defense last season.

The Los Angeles Rams are in the process of trading wide receiver Brandin Cooks to the Houston Texans, sources told ESPN on Thursday.

The Texans will send a second-round draft pick to the Rams in exchange for Cooks and a future pick, sources said.

Hopkins trade looks a little less horrendous with the Cooks trade. In essence Houston got Cooks, David Johnson and a 4th for Hopkins. Although both guys are overpriced in my opinion.

Still horrible imo. All idiot O‘brien is doing is trying to make up for his last fuck up. On top of that you give up a 2nd round pick? There are a ton of great WRs in this draft and they should have went that route instead

I posted in the o’brien Got raped thread as well and Houston also got a horrible grade for this trade as well. O’brien Is fuckin dumb. Like really dumb

I agree O'Brien is an idiot but Houston has a lot of defensive needs and you're not going to get a guy of Cooks caliber at #57 (which is what they gave up). So not sure this deal is that bad. IMO Houston's draft should be entirely on the defensive side unless a really good O lineman fall in their lap. But o'Brien will probably take 2 TE's if history tells us anything.

Cooks isn’t worth that contract and the rams realized that. I also disagree. You might find some WR that ends up being better than cooks at 57 and they would be much younger and cheaper too. This draft is absolutely loaded with WRs. Other teams just keep bending o’brien Over and sticking it up his ass. And ownership just continues to let it happen

And you sign Cobb for $9 million a year at WR? A guy who averaged only 600 receiving yards a season over the last 4 years? Why blow that money on him as a 4th WR when you have much bigger issues, like defense?

O’brien Just makes no sense at all imo

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Patriots have traded Rob Gronkowski and a seventh-round pick to Tampa Bay in exchange for a fourth-round pick, pending a physical. Tampa Bay has two fourth rounders -- Nos. 117 and 139. It is unclear which one is coming back to New England.

Earlier Tuesday it was reported Gronkowski told the Patriots he wanted to unretire to play with Tom Brady. Since the Patriots hold his rights, a trade needed to be made.

Gronkowski joins tight ends Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard in Tampa Bay, which makes it a little surprising the Patriots did not get one of them in return.

The former Patriots tight end has been on record for a few years saying how much he loved playing with Brady, and also he never truly shut the door on a return during his year off last season.

still hearing rumors about Edelman. I will be shocked if he is here on opening day. San Fran seems like the perfect fit to me but we will see.

Don't know what the Saints are thinking, may sign Jamis Winston as a back up QB. Breese nothing but class and Winston classless. Two opposite ends of the spectrum. Then they sign Tayson Hill to a 2yr (21million deal) and draft a Miss St QB on the last day? What the hell is going on ? You can't have 4 QB on the roster?

I would be surprised if the kid from Miss St makes the team, and Winston gives them a veteran QB in case Brees goes down again

If I were the Pats I would sign Andy Dalton, he's the best option out there imo. Of course there is no replacing Brady, but Dalton gives them a veteran presence who isn't as bad as people make him out to be, I think he gives them a better chance to win than Stidham, and in the AFC East, a Dalton led Patriots team is still probably the best team in the division

You're not going 1-15, the Pats will probably win 7-8 games, not good enough to compete for a championship, not bad enough to draft a franchise QB. No chance to win a title with Stidham, but a good enough defense to keep them from being bad. The worst thing a football team can be is mediocre, and right now that's where the Pats look like they are

No chance to win a title with dalton either. He blows and I want no part of him if given the choice. I would rather ride the kid or tank
