I have never understood why NFL teams rehire unsuccessful fired coaches over and over again. Mind boggling!

In another extremely uninspiring move ...

Ex-Dolphins OC Dowell Loggains is expected to serve in the same capacity for Gase with the Jets.

Gase coordinates his own offense, so Loggains is more of an adviser/sounding board. He has never been anyone's idea of a fun offense, from Tennessee to Chicago to Miami.

Ex-Broncos coach Vance Joseph is a "strong possibility" to serve as new defensive coordinator.

While an opportunity awaits with the Jets to be Gaseís new OC, there is a bigger one first ... Dowell Loggains will interview for Miamiís vacant HC job later today. Meanwhile, associate head coach Darren Rizzi is interviewing this morning.

Former Browns interim coach Gregg Williams is in talks with Gase to become their new defensive coordinator

Things are progressing in this direction, and those involved believe itíll get done.

According to one report, Adam Gase was so unhappy with being left out of pre-draft meetings, he decided to rearrange the furniture on draft weekend to be out of sight
