4-5 ATS Overall
This is just the second time he's a dog in the Super Bowl The other time Patriots beat the Rams as a 14-point dog in Super Bowl XXXVI

Rex Beyers at SuperBook
"I've helped open up a Super Bowl line in some way or another for most of last 15 years on Sunday evening, and I've never seen less interest at the window for the openers than I have tonight. It's like crickets out there both in the book & on the phones." When asked if because of pandemic? "That is part of it for sure. But the lack of movement even in other spots offshore and in town is surprising. No one wants Tampa and no one wants to lay 3.5." |

The total opened at 57.5 and was lowered to 57 within a minute. Some Vegas books put the total at 56.5 and others at 57.5, but after two hours of wagering Sunday night it had mostly settled at 57.
There was also early movement on the spread. Around 10:47 p.m. ET/7:47 p.m. PT, the South Point moved from Chiefs -3.5 to -3, making that the consensus line in Vegas with five books at -3 and four holding the line at -3.5. Circa Sports and the Westgate were among the books adding extra juice to the Chiefs -3 at -120. In advance wagering last week, Chiefs were listed as 2.5-point faves if this matchup were to take place (all other advance wagers were refunded) at the South Point and William Hill books in Nevada. The Chiefs were bet up to -3 (EVEN) at William Hill later in the week. The highest advance line was the Chiefs -5.5 vs. the Buccaneers at PointsBet books in New Jersey, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Colorado and Michigan (where legal wagering just started Friday), but the early consensus remained Chiefs -3 and that’s again where we stand as of 11:30 p.m. ET |
