Does John Wall have the worst contract?

There are a lot of bad contracts out there, in all sports, but this might be the worst.

Wizards owner said today that John Wall will probably miss all of next season from his achilles injury his sustained last season.

He will most likely never return to the player he once was....

To make things even worse the extension Wall signed in 2017 doesn't kick in until next season. Yup, in 2017 he signed a 4 year / 170 million extension that didn't start until the 2019 season.... Ouch

The Heat really want Bradley Beal, but the only way the Wizards would consider moving him is if Miami also takes the Wall contract off their hands, so far the Heat have said no

Slim, I think at this point they try to build around Beal and Rui. You are right that contract is horrible and nobody is going to take it away for them. If I am the wizards I tell Wall to get lost for a couple years. If he comes back and proves he can play you may be able to ditch him off to somebody at that point with 1 or 2 years left on the deal.

With the injury its an awful deal, an chances of being healthy an getting him out the contract are very slim looks like the wizards being the wizards bad teams find away to be bad

Well Igudola did hit a 3 pointer in the last 5 seconds so I wouldn’t say they scored 2 pts. But yes that drought was fucking lovely

Injury happened well after the extension, so hard to say it's a bad deal because of the injury, hard to forsee catastrophic injuries. Would say KD or Klay Thompson contracts would be worse since they were given contracts after they were injured, IMO
