Multiple layoffs + one quarantine = back to work for me on Monday.

After 3 weeks working from home I was in total hibernation mode and looking forward to staying that way for many more.

I'll be disinfecting the fuck out of everything.

Hey gang, hope all is well with yourselves and families, or as well as can be.

Am curious to know what people are thinking with regards to when u think measures will be loosened as conversations I have had with people have a wide range of opinion.

And since we are a gambling bunch, I will put up 1500 pts to the winner who guesses the week in which measures will be lightened, as in some workers to go back and home isolation no longer in play. Picks have to be in by Wed Apr 15th at midnight.

I will say June 1st to 8th week.

What is everyone thinking??

For all of us that wants sports back pronto, sadly that won't be happening anytime soon.

Total Sales: $30,848,505

If curious in the future, the info is on lotoquebec.com. Click lottery results then Lotto Max then the little tab that says "details" underneath the winning numbers.

Top right corner of website has "EN" to click on to switch languages.

Anyone still gambling

So what's everybody doing for there gambling fix these days. I can't believe I've been actually playing scratch-and-win tickets. I have won several times but 25 is the most that I've won. I've also been playing the horses online with my woodbine HPI card. Overall I'm spending a lot less and notice I have a lot more money in my wallet Kind of feels weird. Well stay safe everyone I just hoping we can get back to normal by the time the NFL starts.

We should be landing in Vegas right about now in full Bills gear!
Sunny and 90F pretty much all week.

My only consolation is already knowing the Bills first round pick (Diggs).

2021 NFL draft is scheduled for Cleveland.

I don't do anything online. Been scratching too. No big wins. I also have more money in my wallet, which is kinda strange. I work in public utilities so my work has not been affected. They have shortened our shifts so we work 6 hours and still get paid for 8. I am glad for this. If I had more time off and one of the only places I could spend my money is "The Beer Store"...well...nuff said. Hang in there Mallers. I look forward to the day when we can all look back on this and marvel how we got through it.

I'm on scratch tickets as well, but only when I'm hitting up the local convenience store for beverages. I've limited my trips out by subscribing to a local farmshare-type thing for produce, ordering for a local butcher for meats, and buying beverages (pop, juice, milk) at the local convenience store. Coffee beans are acquired at a local specialty shop (which has been opening every 2 weeks).

I've been playing mostly $5 and $10 instants, but spending less than I would at ProLine. Mostly losses, but some $10 wins, 2- $25 wins, and a $50 win over about a dozen or so tickets.

I somewhat enjoy the Hit-or Miss game, but I hate that the draw is every 5 minutes. Every hour would be nice. I could buy a ticket and make it home before the draw is over. Or buy a ticket for advance draws and be working and take a break every hour to watch the draw. But no. 5 minutes. Ridiculous.

A glimmer of hope?

Premier League football will return ‘within weeks’ with games behind closed doors but may be shown on free-to-air TV – The Sun

In the article it states Bundesliga is starting May 9th.

It is a terrible time.
Sadly, I think distancing is a over-precaution, yet a necessary one.
My condolences, good sport.

Deepest Condolences Good Sport. Losing a loved one is never easy, compounded with what is going on now just makes it worse.
Be there for your Dad, it sounds like he really could use it.

I have to say, I was impressed with the "stronger together" production last night. There were some amazing performances and it was good to see the old mixed in with the new. Proud Canadian moreso after seeing that. Donate to the food bank if you can guys and gals.
