I think it was mentioned in yesterday's thread, as we are now approaching the 3 quarter mark in the NHL, it is time to consider rotating some NHL ties into some tickets.
I usually don't consider this until after the all star break, I checked some stats prior to the all star game and there was not many games that resulted in a shootout. I don't know how it compared to other years however I think that shootout games have decreased. I plan on looking into some stats later this week and I will share whatever I find.
I typically play at the casino if I do a rotation of all ties where results are after 60 minutes and odds are significantly less. Today's tie odds were between 3.65-3.9. If I play at the store, I will key two games, picking a side not a tie, and rotate a tie on a number of different tickets.
Since Wednesday only 4 of 37 games have gone into a shootout and 16 of 37 games have to OT. For those that can get to a casino it might be worth considering doing a 3/4 or 3/5 rotation of ties at a time of the season where games tighten and playoff implications are in play.
